Baptism - Congratulations to Cecelia Delaney Hughes, daughter of Justin and Ellen (Wilson) Hughes. She was baptized at St. Simon Church on July 5, 2008.

SCRIP Tips - Remember SCRIP for "Back to School". We have Wal-Mart, Kohl's, JC Penny, Old Navy, and Best Buy for all your electronic needs. SCRIP is available in the Parishes Center 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

Nursing Home Visit - These past two weeks, ALL Catholic patients in our four Nursing Homes have had the Sacrament of the Sick. Some time ago, this was known as the "Last Rites" but now is known as the "Sacrament of the Sick". What beautiful smiles this great Sacrament brought to our dear people.

Habakkuk's Hands Catholics in Action - We will have a dinner at Bobe's on July 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. Come join us and see what we are all about!

Ministry Training - For anyone wanting to get involved in the new parish, Our Lady of Hope, through ministry, we will have training sessions for the following ministries: Lector, Greeters, and Ushers. Please come on one of these days: July 21st through July 25th or July 28th through August 1st, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in St. Simon Church.
