Salesian Missions - Please welcome Fr. George next weekend, June 28th and June 29th. He will be at our Parishes to inform us of the work carried out by the missionaries and the needs then encounter as they serve the young and the poor worldwide. The missions seek not only to assist the young and poor but to help them learn how to help themselves through technical training and education. Please prayerfully consider helping in any way you can.

BULLETIN NEWS - In response to our surveys from last year, we will begin offering a new, more descriptive bulletin beginning next week. It will be published by Liturgical Publications (LPI) out of St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN, who specialize in communication tools for Catholic churches. In order to provide this service, we need anything you would like to have published in the bulletin to be submitted by noon Monday the week of its printing. Please email Carrie and Debbie at cellerman@evansville-diocese.org and dwichman@evansville-diocese.org or drop off your information at the Parishes Office. We will no longer be inserting fliers. Liturgical Publications enables us to provide an expanded bulletin at a reduced cost. Advertising is managed by Jim Solomon of LPI and he can be reached at 1-800-950-9952 ext. 2492.

MEMORIAL SERVICE - On Thursday, July 10th, at 11:00 a.m., there will be a graveside Memorial Service at St. John Cemetery for Lester Padgett, who died in Naples, Florida, on February 20, 2008. Mrs. Margaret Padgett would welcome anyone who would like to attend the service.

CAN YOU HELP? - We are in need of volunteers to take communion to the homebound and nursing homes. If you would like to do this ministry, please contact the Parishes Office at 254-2883 for more information. Thank you!
